Why do you want my SSN?
- One of the security features of SECU Online Banking is requiring each owner of an account to have a unique User ID and password.
- By providing your SSN, you will be able to view all of the accounts associated with your membership.
- If you have both a personal and a business membership with SECU, you will have two unique passwords - one which will allow access to all your personal accounts and the other to your business accounts.
After validating your SSN, you will be asked to immediately select a user ID and password. SECU will now allow only secure, more complex passwords.
What if the system doesn't recognize my SSN?
- If you receive an error after submitting your SSN, it means we are missing some information on your account. Please contact the credit union for assistance.
